Processing Times

Everything at The Hippie Howl is handmade and made to order. From baking fresh treats to sewing your pup’s bandanas and ascots, each order is made specifically for you rather than pulled from finished inventory.

Our current processing time varies depending on what is included in your order.

Treat-Only Orders

Processing time: Up to 2 weeks

Our treats are baked fresh for your order. Depending on what you order, preparation may include baking, cooling, dehydrating, icing, decorating, and packaging before your treats are ready to head your way.

Bandana + Ascot Orders

Processing time: Up to 2 weeks

Our bandanas and ascots are handmade to order. Each piece is cut, sewn, finished, and prepared specifically for your order.

Combined Orders — Treats + Bandanas/Ascots

Processing time: Up to 2–3 weeks

Orders containing both treats and bandanas or ascots may require a little additional processing time. This allows us time to freshly prepare your treats, make your apparel, and coordinate everything to ship together safely.

Processing Time vs. Shipping Time

Please keep in mind that processing time is separate from shipping time.

Processing time is the time needed to make and prepare your order before it ships. Once your package has been handed over to the carrier, shipping/transit time begins.

Treat Shipping Schedule

To help maintain freshness and prevent treats from spending unnecessary time in transit over the weekend, orders containing dog treats ship Monday through Wednesday only.

If your order is completed later in the week, it may be held until the following Monday for shipment.
